About

March is the month to have your say on Auckland’s future.

Between 28 February and 28 March, Auckland Council wants to know what you think about the many challenges facing our city including getting our transport system working better, protecting our natural environment and the rates we pay.

This meeting is a hearing where you can have a conversation with elected members about these topics. Please register on papakuralocalboard@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz if you wish to speak to your submission.

Papakura Local Board also wants to know what you think of its proposed priorities which include:
Advocating for the Governing Body to fund a budget shortfall for a new park and ride at Papakura station; work with the business association, police and community groups to improve safety perceptions in Papakura town centre, funding the removal and management of mangroves and identifying wahi tapu (sacred), taonga (treasures) and heritage buildings and establishing a heritage trail.
We also want to extend use of the outside pool at Massey Park Pool by investing in solar panels and a cover.
To find out more and have your say, go to akhaveyousay.nz. Documents and feedback forms also at libraries, council service centres and local board offices.

Feedback closes 28 March.
