About

New Zealand Alpine Club are excited to again host the Banff Mountain Film Festival - New Zealand Tour at the Regent Theatre, Dunedin this June!

Your attendance supports the NZ Alpine Club to protect the interests and safety of NZ's vibrant climbing community and to enable skilled adventurers via education and instruction, access and advocacy and various other projects such as crag repair and pest management.

The Banff Mountain Film Festival, is the largest, and one of the most prestigious, mountain festivals in the world. The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour hits the road, hot on the heels of the Banff Mountain Film Festival held every Autumn in Banff, Canada.

With stops planned in about 550 communities and more than 40 countries across the globe, this year’s tour features a collection from approximately 400 films entered into the annual festival. The most inspiring action, environmental, adventure, award-winning films and audience favourites are among the films chosen to travel the globe.

This Club community event and fundraiser would not be possible without the support of Macpac, World Expeditions, Adventure South NZ, Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables!

Ticket and programme details will be updated soon!
